Agtegra Cooperative Donates to Over 150 4-H and FFA Programs Across the Dakotas

As part of its ongoing commitment to the future of agriculture, Agtegra Cooperative has provided support to more than 150 4-H clubs and FFA chapters across North Dakota and South Dakota this year. These contributions play a key role in advancing the cooperative’s agricultural education and community impact initiatives.
“We’re proud to support 4-H and FFA for their role in shaping future agricultural leaders,” said Jason Klootwyk, Agtegra CEO. “Supporting their education is an investment in our industry’s future.”
Agtegra’s donations, supplemented by a matching grant from the Land O’Lakes Foundation, are allocated to support 122 4-H clubs and 32 FFA chapters within its trade territory. The combined funds help these programs provide youth with hands-on experience in leadership, agriculture, and civic engagement, laying the groundwork for careers in farming, ranching, and related industries.
Klootwyk, a former 4-H member, reflected on the impact the program had on his early leadership development. “4-H gave me my first opportunity to lead — as an officer and later as club president. The experience helped me build essential skills in planning, public speaking, and accountability,” he said. “It also gave me lifelong friendships and set me on my path in agriculture.”
Agtegra’s support for 4-H and FFA aligns with its mission to strengthen rural communities through education, leadership development, and workforce readiness. As a farmer-owned cooperative, Agtegra values cultivating future agricultural talent.
